Project Description
Embassy: As part of a significant refurbishment project, we were commissioned to decorate the dining room ceiling of the United Arab Emirates ambassador's residence, located near McLean, Virginia. The project included glazing the dining room ceiling beams using a striá technique, selectively gilding strips on the dining room ceiling beams, and gilding an elaborate Islamic lattice pattern stencil on the dining room ceiling in 18-karat gold leaf.

Work in progress
We created molds from undamaged portions of the original plaster to create new plaster casts, then produced restored plaster and replaced the damaged sections with it.
